Spotted at Roberto Cavalli: Emmanuelle Alt's Model Doppelgänger Sep 24th 2012, 19:31 Watching the models shoot down the runway at this morning’s Roberto Cavalli show, we found ourselves doing a triple take at look 41. Is that a young Emmanuelle Alt? It was Brazilian up-and-comer Muriel Beal (pictured), who we also saw at Emporio Armani on Thursday as well as Proenza Schouler and Theyskens’ Theory during NYFW, but with those razor-edged cheekbones, that shock of dark hair, the spray of freckles—there’s no denying Beal’s resemblance to the lanky Paris Vogue editor. It’s not the first time we’ve noticed doppelgängers for fashion’s power players on the catwalks, either. In-demand Marie Piovesan would easily pass for a young Marie-Amélie Sauvé, while we’ve imagined Kel Markey to be Carine Roitfeld’s long-lost love child. —Brittany Adams Photo: Marcus Tondo / Gorunway.com
