Well Hatted, Night and Day Mar 14th 2013, 18:40 This week, the Milliners Guild (yes, there is a Milliners Guild) has opened an exhibition at the National Arts Club titled Night and Day. Inspired by Cole Porter’s song of the same name, the show has called for milliners such as Kimberly D’Auria, Sally Caswell, and Janet Linville (above) to display two breeds of hats—easy looks for everyday wear and dramatic chapeaux for evening. In keeping with its theme, the show will close with a jazz-infused cocktail fete on Friday night. Coat and tie are not required, but headgear is strongly recommended.
