Robert Rodriguez has dabbled with jewelry since last season, but his pre-spring offerings are completely buzz-worthy. The capsule line of necklaces, pendants, and cuffs was inspired by the graphic mosaic prints in his Resort range. A sharp contrast to the designer’s more feminine MO, the jewels, which are all made in L.A. in collaboration with Rodriguez’s longtime friend and design partner Billy Belack, are plated in nickel and gunmetal to create a harder, more punk rock feel. “I love accessorizing with jewelry to give my clothing an edge,” he tells Style.com. And lucky for him (and for us), there’s much more to come. The designer revealed that he will be launching a complete collection for Spring 2013. But for now, set your sights on this crystal-encrusted bib necklace ($295, available at RobertRodriguezcollection.com in the fall).
