One More Way To Get The Look 11 Nov 2010, 3:43 pm
In our Get the Look feature this week, we profiled a chic young thing (left) in fall’s new long, ladylike silhouette and a killer pair of gradient specs. No surprise she’s got glasses to kill for—the woman in question is Anna Laub, the English journalist-turned-designer behind Prism, a line of handmade, hand-finished frames that has been blowing off the shelves at stores like Opening Ceremony, Dover Street Market, and Colette for a few seasons now. Market editor Marina Larroude rounded up similar styles to her purple-gray-lensed Rio glasses, from Chanel, Celine, and Tiffany, but if nothing but the real thing will do, Laub has let us know that the pair in question has just hit Barneys New York this week, where they retail for $390. Without access to the shop? Laub also sells them online here. Photo: streetfsn.com |
