Zarrella Today, Christian Louboutin released Nudes, a collection that includes five styles of shoes in five nude shades to match a rainbow of skin tones. Naturally, the house has created a free iPhone app, dubbed Louboutin Shades, which will help determine which nude is just right for you. “The shoes are there to give a woman an extra lift…they disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of her legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette,” said Louboutin of his flesh-toned kicks. However, we’d bet that the hues aren’t solely responsible for the shoes’ lengthening effect—the designer’s signature sky-high heels probably contribute a little something to that leggy look, too. — Katharine K.
