According to British Vogue, Versace is chatting with Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello about becoming the next guest designer for its Versus range. Should he be picked, he’d follow in the footsteps of J.W. Anderson and Christopher Kane. While Versace hasn’t confirmed the rumblings, we think this collaboration might make the most sense of all—Versace and Vaccarello (who will show his Spring ’14 collection on Tuesday in Paris) share a certain sexed-up sensibility. Couldn’t you just see a short, black patent version of Anja Rubik’s barely there 2012 Met gown strutting down the Versus catwalk?
