Dillon des Prés Co.

“I’m all about keeping things simple,” said designer Simon Psaric of the ethos behind his new accessories label, Dillon des Prés Co. Springboarding off this logic, the 27-year-old Parsons alum has created a range of sleek, unisex leather wares that embrace the clean aesthetic he’s been cultivating since before his college days. “Working with leather, making bags and cases—I’ve been creating the backbone for years.”

Having begun as a friends-and-family outfit, the line has now evolved into a full-fledged business. “It just got a lot bigger, so I decided to make an e-commerce site,” said Psaric. So far, he’s focused on subtle bags and belts made from unlined bridle or vegetable-tanned leather (“unlined but sturdy, and it ages beautifully”) with solid brass accents. And while he’s only just made the leap into e-tail, further expansion is nigh. “I’m moving more toward wardrobing—things that you can wear on the body,” Psaric said. He quickly added, “Harnesses are not out of the question.”

Dillon des Prés Co. is available online. Prices start at $75.
