Lindsay Lohan has just been sued for $5 million by a clothing company seeking damages because of her highly-publicized, reputation-ruining drug woes.

D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries is counter-suing LiLo in response to her lawsuit against the company in which she claims she was stiffed out of earnings.

Lindsay says she agreed to a deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009, allowing them to manufacture stuff for her 6126 clothing line, but did not receive a licensing fee.

The star wants $1.1 million in damages. D.N.A.M. is now coming back at her for nearly five times that, insisting the deal fell apart because of her.

According to D.N.A.M., the company tried to sell her 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers, but by 2010, no one would touch the brand.

All because Lindsay Lohan's name (and reputation) were attached to it.

D.N.A.M. claims the "Greek tragedy" that is her life and Lindsay's "drug-addled image" destroyed 6126's reputation and rendered the line un-sellable.

D.N.A.M. says it invested millions in 6126 for nothing and is thus suing her for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages.

Lindsay Lohan has yet to respond to the suit ... most likely because she's currently in rehab for the seventh time following her latest criminal conviction.

Point, D.N.A.M.
