Coachella kicked off in full force last weekend, and Style.com reporter Alison Baenen has been talking to all the festival’s best-dressed concertgoers about their desert duds, favorite bands, and more. Below, Kate Bosworth shares her Coachella secrets.
Kate Bosworth is such a regular at Coachella that when we asked her how many times she’d been, she said she’d honestly lost count. We got the scoop on what she wore for day one of Coachella 2013.
What she’s wearing: A preview of a look she designed in collaboration with Topshop, which is expected to be in stores next month.
The inspiration: “The design team and I thought a lot about the festival season, and, particularly with this collection, a lot of it was about the California girl. Obviously the perfect place to wear it was Coachella.”
Style tips for the festival circuit: “It’s all about the footwear! One year I had to wrap my feet in tape because I’d worn the wrong shoes on the Friday [of the festival]. It kind of ruined the experience. Now I’m all about comfort.”
Who she came to see: “I’m really excited about the Stone Roses. And I love Beach House.”
