Gwyneth Paltrow was named the World's Most Beautiful Woman this week.
And, for the sake of this 40-year old actress, it's a good thing People bestowed such an honor prior to last night's Hollywood premiere of Iron Man 3.
Because we have a feeling Paltrow would have taken herself out of the running with this monstrosity of a dress. Check it out from various angles now:
