Amazing news for everyone who has every dreamed of dressing like a postal worker?
The USPS is about to make that fantasy into a reality!
With this organization hemorrhaging money (say goodbye to Saturday mail on August 1), the USPS has actually announced it will soon come out with a clothing line.
It will be titled "Rain Heat & Snow" and it will be designed by the apparel company Wahconah Group, Inc.
The USPS will receive a percentage of all sales and will not pay a penny to produce the line, according to Wahconah Group CEO Isaac Crawford.
The Postal Service reported a $1.3 billion loss for the final quarter of 2012 and is in desperate need of cash.
Will a men's line that is available in premiere department stores in the spring of 2014 be the answer?
"We're looking at ways we can generate revenue, and we think this clothing line will have market appeal," said Roy Betts, an agency spokesman, who is clearly mistaken.
