Miss Lily’s—the Serge Becker-designed Jamaican-themed downtown restaurant, nightlife hub, shop, and radio station—just got a little bit cooler. The Miss Lily’s crew (which, of course, includes cofounders Bin and Genc Jakupi and Paul Salmon) has announced that they’re releasing an album featuring their favorite reggae beats. A collaborative project with VP Records, Miss Lily’s Family Style Vol. 1 includes both classic and modern beats true to the restaurant’s island-meets-urban spirit. Produced by house DJ Max Glazer and Salmon, the album isn’t officially out until January 22, but it’s available for order on the Miss Lily’s Web site from today.
