The CFDA train steams ever forward—as last night’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund announcement party makes abundantly clear—but this morning, Style.com’s editors were revisiting one of the organization’s earlier glories: the 2012 CFDA Awards. We’re happy to announce that Style.com’s CFDA Awards coverage, for which we partnered with American fashion’s de facto governing body, won a MIN Award for best special section at the annual ceremony this morning. We won’t dwell too long on back-patting and congratulations. Instead, this seems like the perfect moment to take a spin back through some of the features and interviews we conducted around the awards, from a Q&A with Andrew Rosen on how fashion will move forward to a group chat with Scott “The Sartorialist” Schuman and Garance Doré on the similarities (and differences) in their process. And if there’s anything better to brighten up a chilly Wednesday than a visit with the devoted acolytes of Comme des Garçons (like Carolyn Wade, left), we haven’t found it. Plus, Tim Blanks grills Seth Meyers! Call it a weekday update. Click here to see it all.
