Dannijo Spring 2013 Sep 7th 2012, 12:13 Label: Dannijo by Danielle and Jodie Snyder Need to know: For their Spring 2013 jewelry presentation, sisters Jodie and Danielle Snyder of Dannijo drew their inspiration from the far reaches of the desert Southwest to the local shores of Montauk, New York. The Roots’ Questlove deejayed tunes while fans like Brooklyn Decker Instagrammed shots of mannequin fembots dripping in the brand’s signature oversize bib necklaces, belts, cuffs, and earrings packed with semiprecious stones and pops of turquoise. They say: “The collection is very old Montauk-inspired,” says Jodie Snyder. “Peter Beard is one of our favorite artists, and we’re inspired by his use of collage and mood boards. We wanted the event to feel like you’re walking into our heads and seeing our inspiration firsthand.
