Victoria Beckham Does Girly

“Loose-fitting” was hardly a word associated with Victoria Beckham’s design aesthetic until September, when she debuted her newer and more affordable line, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, to a small group of editors in New York. To showcase the playful offerings in the Spring ‘12 line, she enlisted filmmaker Quentin Jones (who she worked with on a video for her denim line last year).

“This collaboration is really exciting for me,” Beckham tells Style.com. “For the Victoria line I wanted to appeal to a slightly younger audience - super chic but with a sense of humour and an edge and that’s exactly what Quentin brought to the creative process. I really wanted to capture the essence of the playful feminine character at the heart of the collection and Quentin has realised that for me in her unique, innovative style.”

The video doesn’t launch in the windows at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London, until January 30, but Style.com has the exclusive teaser, above.
